Fashion Show

Designer High Street stores and top range ladies’ garments – the season’s clothes – sold at a fraction of the normal price. Expect to see fashion items from Marks & Spencer, Next, Topshop, River Island, Dorothy Perkins, White Stuff.

The promotor hopes to bring Christmas-type clothing – sweaters, hats, scarves, gloves for men’s Christmas presents

Tickets £5 (including glass of wine). Held to support Todwick Village Hall maintenance funds.

Rother Valley MP Alexander Stafford will hold a public meeting on Public Transport provision in the Rother Valley

He will be joined by Nigel Eggleton, CEO of First Bus who will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns and we can all discuss the vital improvements needed in regional transport network across the Rother Valley.

Even if you do not, at present, use public transport please come to hear what the future holds for everyone in the region.

Todwick Historical Society talk by Richard Godley – “Women’s Land Army 1917-1919”

Fun Todwick Garden and House Plants, Seeds and Tools for sale

Come and have a fun time – everyone welcomed including young gardeners.

Free tea, coffee and juices available. Free entrance.

To raise funds for the maintenance of Todwick Village Hall a Todwick “Garden / House Plants, Seeds and Garden Tools for sale event” is being organised.

Offering tables for hire at a charge of £3 per table PLUS 10% of any takings from selling any of your items, e.g. if you sell £50 worth of goods you give to the event fund £5.00.

Do come and buy – there will be a very wide range of items for sale – from garden plants, house plants, garden tools, special flowerpots... as the saying goes “one wo/man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.

Tables to sell goodies are now going really fast.

Calling all Scarecrow makers – yours may be the 2021 BEST TODWICK SCARECROW!

Join in this fun this year – get your children, grandchildren and others to help in the preparation.

Easy to make scarecrows instructions – takes 1.5 minutes to make a scarecrow.

Judges will be visiting all Todwick front gardens – no need to register.

St George’s Day Antique Road Show Treasure Hunt

If you have any antiques, old watches, jewellery (damaged or costume), gold or silver, Dinky and Corgi toys, Crown derby, foreign coins, foreign banknotes, old cigarette lighters, fountain pens, sovereigns and half sovereigns, bangles, tangled chains, silver spoons, silver cigarette cases, silver candle sticks, silver photo frames, then take them down the village hall on Friday, 23 April 2021.
