Todwick Garden Fete

Todwick Garden Fete takes place on 2 July 2011 and will be opened by Roy and Joan Hesketh.
This year there will be all the usual attractions plus some new ones. The W.I. will be having a jewellery and magazine stall as well as the traditional Bran Tub. If you have anything you could donate then please let Janet Cocking (771344), Carol White (770817) or David Thorpe (770821).
During June we will be distributing leaflets throughout the village requesting any items for the Pantry and Tombola stalls. Your support for this collection is very much appreciated. On a similar vein the wine and water stall would welcome any donations of wine - we can provide the water!
Look out for the ticket sellers for the Grand Raffle they will going around the village prior to the Fete selling tickets. Slight change of ticket format this year, single tickets will be £1 instead of the book of 5. This is mainly to ease congestion in the draw tub, but it also saves on paper. Tickets will also be on sale at the Fete and there will be the usual array of great prizes.
During the afternoon there will be a brass ensemble playing. Note NO evening BBQ this year but you will have chance to buy Burgers and Hot Dogs from the afternoon BBQ.
Please go along and support the 1068 Todwick Village Church, Fete entry is only 50p and have an enjoyable afternoon into the bargain.

Sheffield Auction Gallery team of specialist valuers are holding an "Antiques Roadshow" style advice and appraisal morning in Todwick Village Hall.
You are invited to pop along and see one of the team with items that you may be considering selling at an auction. Jewellery, books, clocks, glass, pottery silver, paintings, collectables, scientific instruments, toys, sporting and militaria.
All items are welcome whether they are valuable or just interesting. No items refused for valuation!

Coffee Morning in memory of Mick White

A coffee morning in memory of Mick White is to be held in the Village Hall. All proceeds from this are for Rotherham Hospice.
Stalls to include raffle, book stall, cake stall, bric-a-brac, toys and more.
There will be a small play area for children while Mums have a coffee and look round the stalls.
