13.30
Todwick Church grounds

This year’s Garden Fete takes place at 1.30 pm on Saturday, 2 July 2016 in the Church grounds and will be opened by our Vicar, Reverend Vicky Camber.

As usual we would be grateful for any donations to the various stalls, in particular books, white elephant goods, wine for the water or wine stall, tombola prizes, cakes for the cake stall and for W.I. tea stall.

We will again be making a collection around the village between 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, 23rd June 2016. If you have any items for Tombola or Pantry Stall we would be grateful if you can leave them outside for 5 pm in a carrier bag for collection. (Alternatively these can be left in the Church porch.)

On Thursday, 30th June 2016 we will start our preparations by erecting the gazebos from about 10.00 am and continue during the day aiming to finish for early evening. Likewise on Friday we will again start at 10.00 am and continue with our preparations. On Saturday morning from around 9.00 am stalls will set up ready for the opening. If you can help with any of these activities then it will be greatly appreciated.

Any help from 4 pm to tidy up after the Fete and make the Churchyard ready for the Picnic on Sunday would also be very much appreciated.

All proceeds from the day are for Church Funds and let’s hope that we have a good summer’s weekend and our village enjoys this traditional Fete and the Sunday Picnic.
