Assets are valued on replacement cost with the exception of community land, which is valued as nil.
The village hall is owned by the Parish Council as Guardian Trustee but administered and insured by a Management Committee. The accounts are audited separately. The re-building cost has been re-evaluated.
The Parish Council is the Trustee of the Recreation Ground Charity. It does not own the land. Following advice, the Football Pavilion valued at £98,000 has been reinstated on this Asset Register.
A new notice board has been erected and together with the older notice board is listed as a fixed asset. The cricket pavilion has very recently been found to be in such poor condition as to be no longer safe to use but is still insured and for the purposes of this Register is assumed to have the same replacement cost as at 31 March 2008.
