11/88 BUDGET 2011/12 and 2012/13
Clerk had in advance of the meeting, provided detailed information on bank balances, payments and receipts for the current and previous financial years and actual expenditure for the current year related to the agreed budget
Council considered available funding, existing and future commitments and priority allocation of monies for the remainder of 2011/12. A stand-still budget for 2012/13 was the preferred option but the withdrawal of grounds maintenance by the Borough Council from 31 March 2012 prevented this. The Borough Council were prepared to undertake the work but wholly charged to the Parish Council. The original quotation received was £17,400, reduced to £14,500 on a reduction of items such as 156 litter picks.
Gregory reported on quotations so far received from other grounds maintenance contractors for the work in 2012/13. He estimated that the service would be available at less cost than that offered by the Borough Council.
Resolved
- To incorporate any monies expended at the Children's Playground into the Village Maintenance Budget and £200 to cover the Clerk's gratuity into the Administration budget.
