Apologies had been received from Councillors Gregory and Varah.
05/96 APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
There were no amendments.
The minutes were signed as a correct record.
05/97 MATTERS ARISING

The Bowling Club had sent keys but none of the other user clubs had.

Another spade had been stolen from an allotment shed.

Cloke had attended the SYPTE Transport Sub Committee Meeting. The next meeting was to be at Harthill on 6th February 2006.

B Waller had received a telephone call from RMBC. Remedial works were promised shortly.

05/101 CORRESPONDENCE
Copies of correspondence received by the Clerk had been circulated with the papers for the meeting.
Local Works - Sustainable Communities Bill
Clerk had sent a copy of "The Informer" and would give the lack of medical services and traffic problems as the best two examples of community decline.

B Waller had obtained and distributed 50 copies of the leaflets. She would try to obtain more.

Clerk would write to arrange a site meeting with Club representatives.

There was nothing to report.
05/104 VILLAGE MAINTENANCE
L Waller/ Palmer gave details of the work carried out by the Contractor.
05/105 NOTICE BOARD
Langford reported on the meeting between Councillor Gregory and the RMBC Public Rights of Way Officer. RMBC would design the leaflets and arrange for a suitable notice board.
05/106 BUDGET 2005/6
Clerk expressed the need for members to consider balances at the bank and an expenditure profile for 2006/7 in advance of the 17th January 2006 meeting.
05/107 URGENT ITEMS
A57 Improvement Scheme
Cloke reported that the Action Group had obtained the necessary forms from the Ombudsman. A formal complaint would be submitted. The Group would next meet on the 9th January 2006.
Flower Beds
B Waller/Palmer reported that almost all the beds now had maintenance volunteers.
Church Car Park
Palmer had received complaints about the condition of the area.
Chairman explained that the Church was responsible for maintenance of the car park.
Trees at Children's Playground
B Waller was concerned that branches overhanging the playground from trees in the Church grounds were a hazard and to children in particular. She also thought it time that the containers used at the time of the Church Hall building were removed.
Palmer would have a conversation with Rev Bliss.
Assembly Report
Palmer had attended the recent meeting and reported on the matters considered.
The Meeting Closed a 9.30 p.m.
The next meeting to discuss the budget and precept for 2006/7 will be held in Todwick Village Hall at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday 17th January 2006
