Recent Fund Raising Events

Tea Towels

Enough have been sold to cover costs, which were approx £500. Still some left to sell - have you got yours? Ideal Christmas present!

Leavers BBQ

This raised £35 for school funds.

Sports Day

Not a PTA run event but supported by many PTA members and attended by many parents, grand parents and family members who all spent generously on raffle tickets, programmes, ice creams and drinks to raise a massive £350 for school funds.

Summer Fair

A really fantastic day, all the stalls were run by the children, teachers and PTA members. Lots of you attended and joined in the fun. A phenomenal £800 went into PTA funds.

Yellow Moon Catalogue

After only seven weeks of ordering time the school have received a cheque for £12.15. Thanks to all those who placed an order. The Christmas catalogue will be distributed soon.

What PTA funds have been spent on

Playground markings

£800 from PTA funds. Due to be completed during the first week of October.

Swimming Pool

£3000 from PTA funds. The refurbishment and re-lining of the swimming pool was completed over the summer break.

Future PTA Events

Children's Halloween Disco

We are currently having problems trying to book a DJ/children's entertainer for a Halloween Disco. The two DJs we have used in the past are both busy. We will try and secure a date as soon as possible. If you know of any other DJs/children's entertainers we could try please contact the PTA secretary via the school or on email at RichardandAlison@Talktalk.net

Project Playground

Would you like to see improved play facilities in the playground? PTA members have suggested that all future fund raising be directed towards a permanent play or climbing frame type structure or shaded seating areas for the Junior playground - would you support such an initiative? What do you think? Send any suggestions to the PTA secretary (Alison) via the school or email Alison at RichardandAlison@Talktalk.net or come along to the next PTA meeting on 6th October 3.30pm in the school library.

PTA AGM

This will be a full AGM with nominations for all PTA positions being proposed and voted on at the meeting. EVERYONE welcome, come along to join in, nominate yourself for a position or just come along for a chat about fund raising ideas or what you would like PTA funds (your money!) to be spent on. Thursday 6 October 3.30pm in the School Library.
