Grey Matters in Todwick

An independent group of men and women who meet weekly in Todwick Church Hall every Friday afternoon, 2 pm – 4 pm

Anyone who is over 55 will be warmly welcomed to this very friendly group. Come and try a taster session for free and then if you join you pay £2 and give a small donation towards refreshment.

The group was set up with the help of Rotherham Age UK, and is now supported jointly by Todwick Church and Todwick Parish Council.

There are varying activities, and indeed we try to do what our members request, it may be that you just want to come and chat, bring some knitting, sewing, drawing, or painting, do a quiz, or a craft project, have a discussion group, play board games, cards, dominos, draughts or join our very active scrabble group. As we get older, most doctors will tell us the more active we keep our minds and bodies and the more social interaction we have, the healthier we will be, what better reason can you wish for joining us?
